Coco lies on the couch
Oct. 21st, 2011 10:31 amI love the way Coco lies on the couch on the cushions, with a seeming instinct for luxury. It has proven to be a long-time habit that I hope remains a life-long habit.
Though, I cannot fault what Sammy has been doing lately, which is sto stretch out on the lounge chair on the patio, especially on cool mornings like these.
As for Ash, well, at least she is staying with us, rather than going to Plan B.

The End of Qaddafi
Oct. 21st, 2011 10:58 amQaddafi was caught and killed.
It is striking how the Republicans are disinclined to give President Obama any credit for these 'successes'. Even Senator McCain was congratulating the French and the British. Sometimes I think that Americans are only a few steps shy of having our own civil war in this country, as Republicans seem to regard liberal Democrats as being a terrorist cell set on destroying America from inside, rather than as a party of political opposition that simply believes that American interests are not best served by giving the ultra-rich everything they want.
It's true, of course, that American troops were not leading the way and that the Americans were not the ones spearheading the mission, but it would seem absurd to discount American aid. finger prints
Oct. 21st, 2011 02:21 pmPop exclaims, "I don't have finger prints!"
I don't know what he is getting himself into, an insurance program or healthcare program or what, but it is a veteran thing, and in signing up today, their machine couldn't read his fingerprints. The guy said this is the first time it has ever happened.
I'm thinking it's obviously the machine, but this would assume that it couldn't read anyone else's fingerprints, either.
Odd. Or at least Pop's undestanding is odd.
