Bingo bango! Pop said it was going to rain in the early morning. He knew what he was talking about. At about six-thirty, I started hearing little rumblings of thunder, and I continued dozing in bed, thinking that I should wait until seven, increasing my chances that all three cats will on the patio waiting to come inside. Then a loud peal of thunder cracked the vault of heaven and I leaped out of bed and hurried to the kitchen door.

I saw Coco and Sammy, and thought two out of three isn't so bad, and then I saw Ash come from under the patio table - got 'em all!

I also hurried to get the newspaper and to roll the trash bin to the curb. It started to drizzle as I was tying up the back gate, but I fairly beat the storm.

This promises to be a good rain and we need it. So dry.

porn pics

I must confess the porn pics are not looking so gross to me today. I suppose if I live into my eighties, I will still be glaring at such fare.

I notice Pop isn't playing his country & western noise this morning. Maybe he prefers listening to the storm and thunder, which has been very rare over the last year.
monk111: (Sugar Hips)
The storm lasted only a little more than a full hour, but we are talking the full works. It flooded the back yard. If the storm kept that pace for another few hours, we could have been in trouble.

Monk sighs, "So true! Sad but true."

Daimon says, "It's only sad if you are poor."

Pi says, "Even if you are rich, it's sad. Sadder. In a pathetic kind of way."

Monk says, "It's good to see you, Daimon. I actually missed you."

Daimon says, "You only have to call."

Monk nods, "I know. But imagination, imagination, imagination."

Daimon says, "You mean work, work, work and effort."

Monk says, "That too. I'd even like to puff this up. Turn it into a full fictional narrative. But, um..."

Daimon says, "Imagination, imagination, work, work, effort."

Monk says, "Yeah. I think the time would be better spent reading, instead of expending a lot of hours in lameness and fail."

Daimon mocks, "Which you are avoiding now? with this fruitful life you have laid out for yourself."

Monk says, "There are degrees of failure. And trying to conjure up three or more voices and personalities, when I cannot even cull one whole one for myself, seems exquisitely pointless."

They are saying she looks great. And I suppose it's true, for an older woman and a mother of at least two children. But it's not exactly the schoolgirl Britney of "Hit Me One More Time", is it now?

red-xed

Ooops, I noticed someone's pictures getting red-xed. As I was also having a little wobbly trouble with my Internet connection, I thought it was me, but everything is not running swimmingly, but those pictures are gone. Then I realized that the account is gone.

At first, I thought someone deleted their account, but while that may be true, it occurs to me that I might be seeing a suspended account. One of the good one's, too. It will be interesting to see if there are a wave of these.

I am surprised to see Coco making so much noise about being let out. Usually she takes being penned up better than Ash and Sammy, or at least she tends to be very quiet about it. Not tonight. And given how soaked we are, they should be indoors for at least another couple of days.
monk111: (Gabe Two)

Daimon says, "Ah, the days before feminism..."

Pi says, "Those were also the days before civil rights for colored people."

Nothing's perfect. But you got to love the transition from black and white network television to broadband Internet.
