Yeah, the pavement looks freshly wet. It's not stoppping yet.

I don't like using the laptop for my early-morning blogging rounds, preferrig to spare it the wear and tear, but Pop is good to me about being quiet overnight, and I am happy to spare him the noise from the cats that would come from my using the office computer. And I can give the cats the big room and open the window for their fascination, as well as watch over them, to make sure they do not try to tear through the screen.

Britney Spears will be taking "a little time off" in 2012, according to Joe Riccitelli, executive vice president of promotion for RCA Records, in an interview with D.C.'s HOT 99.5.

Wouldn't it be better is she retired altogether and just enjoy her millions?

The Gabe and Sugar icons comes up, and I remember that I was so into Britney during that 2003-2005 period. Britney was the dream blonde of all dream blondes.

Ah, a fresh burst of rain! Wouldn't you know it, it is the hardest rainfall yet, a good hard shower.

Of course, I am a rainy kind of guy and rather favor the rainy weather, and I should not let the cats' distemperature ruin that for me.

Media mail

I check the mail as though I have at least a one in a million chance that "Romance X" will be in the box. Media mail, cripes. It could take a month. If I don't have enough to pay their blackmail fee for expedited delivery, I should hold off until I get the money, or maybe don't do business with them, as they do have that whiff of a shadowy business. I pray it wasn't a mistake to give up our credit card number. Amazon does seem to carry the movies, and if they were better about labeling what they had on "Romance X", so that one could be sure that they were not dealiing in only the censored American version, I would have stuck with Amazon.

While I was out there, I also took care of our recyclables, and what a wet, muddy mess, the back yard, the side path though the gate. It would take a week to dry without anymore rain. But I was glad that Neighbor Dog was nowhere to be seen, and I gave a good look for him, with three chewy dog-snacks in hand. It's not cold, but it is nasty out there.

I caught the later part of Fox's Republican debate, and I was surprised to see Pat Caddell shilling for Fox and Republicans. I see support for the proposition that there has been a big change on Wikipedia.

_ _ _

In 1988, Caddell left the Democratic Party after an acrimonious lawsuit with a Democratic consulting firm, Caddell, Doak and Shrum. Republicans would often cite Caddell's tirades against the Democratic Party when they spoke on the floor of the House and the Senate.[3][4][5]

According to researchers, Caddell had wide influence in the Carter White House, and was the chief advocate of what later became known as Carter's "malaise speech".[6]

His analysis on polls and campaign issues often puts him at odds with the current leadership of the Democratic Party. He has been criticized for predicting the downfall of the Democratic party.[7][8] Critics point out that he has defended the Bush administration by arguing that Republicans did not exploit the issue of gay marriage in the presidential election of 2004.[citation needed] He also denounced Democrats in the House who voted against the Palm Sunday Compromise, which sought to reinstate Terri Schiavo's feeding tube, as "cold blooded,"[citation needed] and called environmentalism "a conspiracy 'to basically deconstruct capitalism.'"[1]

Caddell is a regular guest on the Fox News Channel, and he is listed as an official 'Fox News Contributor'. This has earned him the label of a "Fox News Democrat" by critics such as liberal opinion magazine Salon.com[1] He has also frequently appeared on the conservative website Ricochet.com discussing politics.
