the subject-heading line

Wow, they really have removed the subject-heading line from comments. It looks like a downgrade. Maybe that is what it is intended to be. It probably saves some measure of computing time, and they are not used that often and they are not vital. But, man, it feels like a downgrade.

Christmas shopping for the kids

Jack and Jill pick up Pop, to do the Christmas shopping for the kids. I wonder how much he will spend. Probably more than fifty. More than a couple of hundred dollars?

Having the house to myself this evening, I should do something special for dinner, rather than heat up another Swanson dinner. But I cannot think of anything. Two things come to mind: heat up a chicken patty or fry up a hamburger patty. Neither of which is very appetizing.

I suppose Pop will be treating them for dinner.

I shouldn't be too grumpy, though. I have just gotten a new mattress and a new LCD television, totaling around $700, and I wasn't even a very good boy this year.
