Didn't get much of a nap. I kept thinking that I was hearing the UPS van pulling up and unloading. It's getting kind of late. I'm starting to doubt that I am going to get to kick off season three of Chuck tonight over my dinner.
But I'm more bothered to see that the skies have cleared so fully, turning into a perfectly sunny afternoon. The ground remains bone-dry.

As I was unwrapping the "Chuck" DVDs, I was starting to feel the old rush for the show, and, guess what, at least episode one of the third season was as good as any of the first two seasons.
I was worried that, as a super-spy, Chuck would be too strong a character for the mold of the show, breaking all the familiar character dynamics that we came to love. In the first episode, they maintained the dynamics by making Chuck an unreliable spy, even calling his old reliable ability to 'flash' into question.
However, it looks like Chuck was getting better by the end of the episode, so that it still remains to be seen what will become of this season. But I am looking forward to finding out.
