that semi-diarrhea thing

I was fine yesterday with that semi-diarrhea thing, but this morning, on the day of my downtown trip, I seem to have full-blown diarrhea. I am still expecting to go. I have a couple of hours for this to clear up.

the library's wi-fi

When I was at the library and I had finished one of Thomas Mann's short stories, I did not feel like starting a new one right away, and I still had a lot of time before I needed to leave for my chicken fried rice. So, I was able to work up my nerve and take the plunge to connect onto the library's wi-fi service. It proved to be another instance of me kicking myself for not trying it sooner. I loved the luxury of being able to read the Times, and not having to bother with the waiting list for the library's computers. And my kindle didn't even explode!

"1000+ new items"

I am back to seeing that "1000+ new items" on my Google Reader, but I don't mind, especially since I now have such nicer images to view.
