"You mentioned that you were growing disillusioned with your book-blogging. Is that still true? Getting worse?

Disillusionment is perhaps too strong a term. I never expected much from it. I mean, what can come from copying someone's text? There is obviously no chance at achieving anything by it. And, evidently, it is not something to catch the interest of others. For this latter point, I may have harbored some expectations, thinking that people might appreciate catching some of the great works of literature in small bite-sizes. For instance, a lot of people are not going to bother tackling "Atlast Shrugged", but they might appreciate the chance to get much of the material through my piecemeal treatment. But, no. No takers.

Nevertheless, I am not inclined in the least to give it up. You can look at it this way: until I can write something worthwhile of my own, then maybe the best thing I can do is to copy other worthwhile writers, and study more intensely their work.

"You honestly think that you might pick up something that will enable to write seriously?"

Not really, I guess. But it remains the best thing that I can think of doing with myself. I would be happy to discover another meaningful answer, but I cannot glimpse one on the horizon. I enjoy literature. It very well may be that this is my best answer.
