I’m finally doing something about the crowding of my scribble blog with prep work from news items and other e-sundries. I’m dating all that stuff back to 2000. This debate has been going on in the back of my mind for some time, including such options as whether or not to create another account or perhaps to go back and use my old Blurty for this prep stuff, and I finally decided to do this back-dating thing.

Sometimes I like to read my personal entries, and it irritates me when I come across that clutter of news links and quotes and book notes.

Maybe I also should be calling this my personal blog rather than my scribble blog, since I am trying to up the quality of the writing. I no longer think of it as just a place to blurt or tweet. This is probably just another passing mood, but I want to ride it for whatever I am worth.

How many dumps is that? Was that the fourth today, or the fifth?

Maybe Pop’s barbecue chicken was a tad undercooked?

But I haven’t been particularly diarrheic.

When I began my morning walks, I was concerned about this, as I was having a little problem with this before. I am happy to say that I have not been embarrassed yet with this bathroom stuff, but I am afraid that I am pressing my luck? At least we are not talking about messing myself on the bus in a crowd of people or when I am downtown far from home.

Fuck, Susanna has ordered the first three seasons of “Criminal Minds” - for my dubious viewing pleasure. I know nothing of the show, except that it’s a standard network cop drama, and I doubt it will have the charm of “Chuck”. I guess I should have asked for a book when she was offering, instead of declining her offer of Amazon goodies altogether.

Of course, there is a remote chance that the series will turn me on. I have three seasons worth of shows to find out. I do intend to watch them. The reviews suggest to me that it is at least worth a free viewing. In fact, maybe I will return to the routine of watching the DVDs on the computer. It may be recalled that there was a short time when I rather liked that routine, but I fell out of it once I got into watching complete “Chuck” episodes on TV over my meals.

I suspect that I am not really going to care to watch these episodes instead of movies and news shows that I record on the DVR. So, we will see if I can fall back in love with watching shows on the computer. I am skeptical, though, because I feel busier than ever when I am on the computer, in part because I don’t spend as much time on the computer as I used to, preferring to drop the early-morning blogging rounds as well as being more tardy to the post-dinner rounds, and my morning walks, lest we forget, eat up a lot more of my mornings, and, plus, I am trying to spend more time on my writing, but we shall see soon enough. The DVDs are expected to arrive in a couple of days on Friday. Susanna obviously still has Prime membership at Amazon.

Gina asks, “Why did she buy this for you? What’s that about?”

She is really fixated on that show now and I guess she doesn’t want people missing out on joy and wonder of this program. Hey, if it wasn’t for her, I never would have jumped on the “Chuck” bandwagon.

“No, I mean why is she buying them for YOU?”

Oh! I did an entry notifying my readers that I am no longer going to post so often, and that I might even skip some days. Part of the rationale I gave is that I am feeling a little blue. Mainly, I said honestly that I just want to take things more slowly, do things more deliberately. And she seemed to take this as a call for help.

“Does she do this for everyone?”

Actually, yes, I think so. As long as her Amazon credit holds out. She is definitely one who has caught hold of the idea that it feels good to give. And I guess I am just lucky that I am still in that social circle with her. It wasn’t long ago that I thought I fell off that list and fell onto her shit list, and maybe I did but she has had another change of heart.

She's still no longer the "Hit Me One More Time" girl in the schoolgirl outfit singing and dancing in the school hallways.

"Like you wouldn't be all over that for a couple of hours, licking her up!"

Just saying.
