slept for five hours straight

I slept for five hours straight and change. It has ben eons since I enjoyed such an extended sleep. The problem with that, though, is that I couldn't go back to sleep; so, it's a five o'clock morning. But maybe this is not a problem, because I feel pretty good and I'm getting a jump on the day.

The cats may not be so happy about it. There was no two o'clock feeding. It was after four-thirty when I got out. Sammy was dying of hunger, and Ash was meow-crying on top of the neighbor's roof. She finally made it down to get some food. No Coco, though.

I need a little sunlight

I am willing to go out on my walk now, but I need a little sunlight, and it's a quarter after seven already. Maybe in another thirty minutes? I hope. I would have liked an early start on this too, but it is like dark night out there.

"Homeland"

Judging by the response in an ONTD post, the "Homeland" show is still kicking butt. The plot of Manchurian cadidate type of terrorist seemed to me like it could not go that far, like it might make a good movie, but a season and then two seasons and now going into a third seasons. Am I going to have to get the DVDs??
