One probably shouldn't be surprised that the Islamist takeover of Egypt is leading to harder times for women's liberty, but now the leadership seems to be fostering a true 'rape culture' to keep women down and under control.

“To understand Marilyn best, you have to see her around children. They love her; her whole approach to life has their kind of simplicity and directness.”

We post so much crap about LiLo, fair play commands that I take down this positive note.

Lindsay Lohan had great, post-fake sex on the set of :"Anger Management" Monday .... and in the process won over the entire cast and crew.

Sources on the set tell TMZ ... Lindsay's first scene featured her in bed with Charlie Sheen ... according to the script they had just had sex. We're told, "Lindsay knew her lines cold and her timing was perfect. She was really funny."

Lohan -- who showed up 45 minutes EARLY -- was "incredibly nice" and spent a fair amount of time taking pictures with the crew.

One source says Lindsay, who plays herself, "proved she has talent. You watch her and you know why she became a star."

Lindsay is back on the set tomorrow. One day at a time.

It really is their world and we just live in it.

When I first went to bed last night, I was happily surprised to find that I must have immediately fallen asleep and got two solid hours of sleep. At about one-thirty, they called it a day from all that TV-watching and snacking, and the noisy racket of course woke me up, and I then picked up my bedding and moved to the big room. Less happily, I couldn’t sleep again, save perhaps for an hour or so in the dawnish morning. I’m afraid this ragged routine is weakening my immunity and will end up costing me my good health before too long.

I feel a little bad looking at my show blog and seeing that it has become a bit larded with celebrity news. Like international affairs and domestic politics has become too heavy and hard a topic for me.

Using my Ten Year rule, I doubt that I would be as interested in reading in ten years about a transient move among the powers that be in government and corporate business as I would be in reading about the personal affairs of the big names of movies, TV, and music.

And I am not sure what to feel about this. Should I try to change this - ignore celebrity news and focus more consciously on hard news?

As far as ‘intellectual pride’ goes, I feel like I do enough with my book-blogging. But I still don’t know. I am not even sure if I am going to be around in ten years.

We get a new lawn mower today. Pop said they had a special that he could not pass up. This is at least one break for me. I dreaded having to put my faith in the new blade that Pop and I - natural and gifted mechanics that we are - installed on the old mower.

In my frustration from being unable to access my xnxx videos, I ventured to try another website that hosts rape videos, and thought I hit the motherlode with Heavy-R. However, although it does have a lot of videos and does not seem to be a malware trap and is not shy about labeling their material as rape-porn, it is a paysite, so that I think we usually only get abridged material for free. It seems like truncated stuff. It is better than nothing, to be sure, and it should hold me for a while.

I will probably wind up trying yet another site - pressing my luck. Yet, I kind of wish that I would just get over my appetite for porn, that such could be one of the compensations of my old age. This wankery seems especially pathetic in an old man.

Pop catches me in the hallway and orders me not to put the gas that we have in the shed in the new mower, because he wants to get some “fresh gas” for it. Yup, that’s Mr. Mensa, my father. But I don’t say anything on this old issue of fresh gas, since he did just lay out the dough for the new mower, which we probably would not have needed but for the fact that I was a little too reckless with the mower. Indeed, it was my recklessness with the mower previous to that one that also probably precipitated a faster purchase than would have been needed otherwise. So, I’m willing to play nice. Though, I sure do wish that Pop could have been moved to say that I can forget about mowing altogether, that he will pay someone to take care of the lawn. Dream, dream, dream...
