Red recalls Presley’s telling him on a dozen occasions that his mother remembered three-year-old Elvis slipping off her lap at a church service and running down to the choir. There his little voice would try to follow the singing. It had started to rain. It woke me from my nap. I didn't mind. I was glad that I kept the cats inside for a good reason. I was afraid this promised rain was never going to fall. It was coming down pretty hard too. We need it pretty bad. I was hoping that we would get at least a few hours of this downpour. But, no, it didn't last over ten minutes. However, it looks like we have a fair chance of getting some more. At least a good hour's worth, please!
