Guns and the Texas Rule

Here is some interesting discussion on America's gun culture and yippee-kai-yay spirit. One can appreciate the macho appeal, but it is about time that America got on board with the higher ideal of civilization as a place where the citizens are not always shooting each other up. But maybe we will never reach that promised land.
