Broken Sleep

A badly broken sleep. Kept the cats inside overnight and slept in the big room. So, it's not a big surprise. A little surprising is Ash's new habit of jumping on the bed and wailing for some attention. It was cute the first time. It was still a little touching the second time. But I had to swat her off the bed the third time.

GTA 5 Day

I am expectantly looking out the window for the UPS van. GTA 5 is supposed to come in today. In truth, even when I clicked the 'buy' button, I half-expected that I was throwing sixty dollars in the garbage. I have checked my old Xbox in recent weeks, and it was running then. Regardless, it can fail at anytime. On top of that, I am afraid that the new game requires so much memory that I may need to get something to fix that, and I doubt my ability to manage that problem.

In short, if the game doesn't run by my simply sliding in the discs, then I have an expensive drink-coaster. But I am hopeful, too. I could use a new piece of fun in my life. I remember when I first got GTA 4. Man, I was blown away. I didn't think they could pack that much fun in a video game. I really want that experience again. Something fresh and wild. God, I hope they keep it sexy and nasty. I'm not really in it for the thrill of shooting cops and bad guys, or for robbing banks and drug dealers.

GTA 5 Day

The game is here. The Xbox is running. The game is in the process of being installed. I hope I don't run out of memory. That would be a bummer. I hope I am going to be very occupied for the next three or four hours.

Well, well, I have been playing in the game for a little over two hours now, and I am not sure what to say. First, yes, you can fuck whores and kill them, and even more, the strippers no longer have that black tape on their tits. So, when it comes to the nasty sex, you can say that it is only an improvement over GTA 4, which is saying quite a bit. But... I cannot say that I am feeling the raptures that I felt when I first played GTA 4. However, GTA 4 was like a whole new hyperspace level above Vice City, and the game world of GTA 5 is very similar to 4. In the end, I am glad I got it, and I want to keep playing to see what will be thrown our way, but I am not really feeling the love.
