Books and Girls

In PolitiCartoons, I posted a video boasting the virtues of getting a girl who reads books. Mr. McKavian said, "Good gods, this is so very true. Smart is so much sexier than a cheap meat suit."

As the post had been posted some time ago and seemed dead, and as I was feeling restless, I decided to be free with the discussion, and I answered, "To perfectly honest, I can amuse myself well enough in books, and being rather deprived, I could fancy a simple beauty, with perhaps a bounteous chest. I don't really need to talk Shakespeare with somebody. ;)"

He said, "Being attracted to someone you are planning on spending your life with is a definite bonus, but when you are 75 and the bounteous chest is hanging around her belly button, it'll be nice to have someone to talk to."

I said, "I would rather be happier in my youth than in my old age. :p"
