The play continues to rage forward.”

It had been a long time since I resorted to my ancient videotape collection for a wank. I was feeling a deep, aching yen for “Oriental Babysitter”. A sentimental favorite. It was a cornerstone in our earliest collection from the Yokota days. It’s up there with “Debbie Does Dallas”.

Sal gave Pop a clock. Sort of a belated Christmas present, I guess. It has a pool hall motif. It looked like a somewhat pricey model. Thinking that it might be quieter than the Shiner clock that Pop has hanging in the office (it certainly could not be louder), I suggested that he might hang the new clock in the office and move the Shiner clock to his room.

I am surprised that Pop took my suggestion. The new clock is quieter, though it could be quieter still. It is progress. Funny thing, when I use my bathroom, I can hear the Shiner clock in Pop’s room. It sounds like a whooshing pendulum. I am impressed that he is perfectly willing to sleep with that noise. It apparently doesn’t bother him. I would smash that thing into a thousand smithereens before trying to sleep with it.
