Only 38 degrees. There is not a breeze stirring, though, and it is a sunny morning. It also has been another week since I have been able to go on a walk. I have to take this opportunity. This winter, you just cannot be sure when you will get another decent break. I need the air, and the quality time with Plato and away from the pull of the Internet.

I brought the whole bag of cracked corn this time, thinking that the ducks have been neglected and are likely to be starving. I had no trouble discharging all of the food. I just wish the smaller, cuter ducklings would not get forced out from the core of the feeding.

Pop

Pop only took over the big room for about fifteen minutes, before retiring to his room. It upset me a little. I could have kept the laptop going and stayed in the room for the evening. Pop comes out of his room a little later, but he says he will only putter around in his office. His leg is bothering him badly. He is puzzled about the cause. I ask if it could be a complication of his diabetes. He says that his tests are good on that front.
