monk111: (Effulgent Days)
Pop was up early, before eight. He said he was going to edge the lawn this morning. I understood. It was a wonderfully overcast morning and relatively cool. I thought I might follow his lead and mow the front, but the grass was too dewy wet, and I knew the sun would be bright hot soon enough. Nonetheless, I was inspired to finally take care of the litter box, which I had been putting off for weeks. As for Pop, he puttered around too long, reading his paper and drinking his coffee. He almost killed himself working in the noon sun. I even went outside to give him some of my chilimac; I knew he must be running low on fuel and could use some sustenance. He was glad to take my offer.

In a discussion on racist, rightwing groups, I came across the "Fourteen Words". I had never heard of it before. It is a slogan or credo and apparently comes in two versions. The primary version reads, "We must secure the existence of our people and a future for White Children." The second version is rather more romantic, I think, and it reads, "Because the beauty of the White Aryan woman must not perish from the earth." The more you learn!, or dislearn as the case may be.
