Aging

Marie Osmond has turned 55 years old. She is talking about how she accepts aging, but methinks she protests too much when she gushes, “I have no problem with aging, but what’s sad is people who want to be 30 when they are 50.” Oh, please, who doesn’t want to be thirty when they are fifty, who doesn’t want to still be full of life rather than falling apart on the slow, sure descent to death? Sure, you do not want to fixate on the issue. It is better to make the most out of the life that you have left. Nevertheless, you definitely prefer to be thirty.
