Whew, Pop has just been given back his phone. It's clean. This chapter is closed, and life gets to go on as usual. I was starting to worry that they were taking this long, not because of bureaucratic cumbersomeness, but because they were waiting to get an indictment.

What was with that shop girl? What was in her mind? The cop said that the pictures that one sees in a cellphone's galleries are very small, and there were nude pictures, albeit of a 65 year old woman, and the catch is that there were pictures of toddlers in the same gallery, the grandchildren. The cop said that it is not an unreasonable mistake to conflate the tiny pictures, to think that some of the nudity might have been of the children. I don't know. I think there is more to the story here, but one has to be simply relieved that this is just over.
