Sammy's voice has gotten a lot heavier and louder since the last time he was penned up in the house. I don't think it's a maturity thing, as these cats are already very mature, at least six years old, I think. This development does not improve home life, of course. But what are you going to do? Once you love them, they got you, and they know it.
Shit, it's raining already. Going by the forecast and the rather sunny look of the sky, it wasn't supposed to start till the evening, if it fell at all. I was going to mow. The next-door neighbor called it right. He just finished his mow in time. Shit. The grass does not look particularly wild now, but once it finally dries off again, it will be bad. Well, I get to enjoy another lazy day, right? But I had my nerve steeled, and I was ready to knock that chore out.
