Orwell

Orwell has a good line about the dreamy men with big political visions, the Utopians, the Big Idea people, their prospects for becoming relevant: “Of course it is not going to happen, nothing advocated by well-meaning literary men ever happens”. Unfortunately, neither can we look to the proles.
