At seven o'three my eyes pop open. Not bad, but I would have preferred seven-thirty. Like yesterday, Pop starts his country & western show a little later, at seven-ten this time. So, I get to do my early-morning blogging rounds, after all.

The swelling of my upper-lip has not gone away completely, but it is perhaps about 85% better, so I don't think there is anything to worry about on that front, though I do wonder what caused it. This was a new quirk, without precedent.

Wow, zero items! When I started getting close this morning to clearing my Reader, I had to go for it.

Though, I'm afraid that this might have been made easier because a lot of my favorite Tumblrs have been banned.

Pop left a little early for his rounds, and as it was still about an hour before my lunch time, I thought I'd knock out the toilet and get that chore out of the way.

Hamburger buns definitely improve my burgers and chicken sandwiches. So, there's a little boost for the diet, but it remains a losing game.

An afternoon snack. It was not so much that I hungered for some sweet sustenance, but that I had a second coke coming to me, and I have this little fear that having a coke with my dinner could be bad for me. I didn't mention it before, but I had an eruption of acid reflux a couple of nights ago.

For a while now, perhaps a good week, I have sensed a chilly edge in Pop's attitude toward me. I have a pet theory for it, too. It has been a long, looong time since Lorie has paid a real visit, drinking and watching TV with him. It could be easy to think that I am to blame for that.
