Again, the country & western music wakes me up at seven sharp. Before daylight saving time, Pop had been off this seven-sharp routine for some weeks. And now he goes back on it when I could really use the extra half-hour sleep, as I struggle to get use to this time-change.

It has been about twenty-five years since I first read it. I want to finish the rereading before beginning my guided tour through the novel for my imaginary readers. As I recall, the novel turned me onto reading. I wasn't making it in computer science, and I was looking for something to buff up my intellectual pride. Dickens and literature are not calculus and science, but I guess it is something. "Great Expectations" is a landmark book in my reading life. It was a long looong time ago, and I sometimes forget about it.

Well, we may as well get our money's worth. It's also a good way to keep men wanting to come back for more. I think most men would be willing to give up a few points in the looks department for someone who can act and sound like you are killing them with your monster dick.
