Great Expectations
Mar. 12th, 2012 04:19 pmYes, I think I will have to book-blog at least one Dickens novel. This one.

Miss Havisham beckoned her to come close, and took up a jewel from
the table, and tried its effect upon her fair young bosom and
against her pretty brown hair. "Your own, one day, my dear, and you
will use it well. Let me see you play cards with this boy."
"With this boy? Why, he is a common labouring-boy!"
I thought I overheard Miss Havisham answer - only it seemed so
unlikely - "Well? You can break his heart."
-- Charles Dickens, “Great Expectations”

It has been about twenty-five years since I first read it. I want to finish the rereading before beginning my guided tour through the novel for my imaginary readers. As I recall, the novel turned me onto reading. I wasn't making it in computer science, and I was looking for something to buff up my intellectual pride. Dickens and literature are not calculus and science, but I guess it is something. "Great Expectations" is a landmark book in my reading life. It was a long looong time ago, and I sometimes forget about it.

Why Do Women Moan?
Mar. 12th, 2012 08:28 pmThe researchers found that many of the women did make noise, but not necessarily while they were having an orgasm. Instead, 66% said that they moaned to speed up their partner’s climax, and 87% stated that they vocalized during sex to boost his self-esteem.

Well, we may as well get our money's worth. It's also a good way to keep men wanting to come back for more. I think most men would be willing to give up a few points in the looks department for someone who can act and sound like you are killing them with your monster dick. It really seals the deal if you also let him talk dirty, as seen in this example serendipitously taken from Tumblr:
"My boyfriend recently started calling me 'his dirty slut', and I just love it! It turns me on so much.. Specially while hes ramming his dick into me and he says 'Take it you dirty slut'. Lol unf. [; Just wanted to share. Hah. ;D <3
Of course, not everyone is the same. Just saying.
