It's actually a little chilly this morning. I don't need to find my sweatpants, but it is close to that. I love it, of course, but I would prefer a good rain. God, I hate the idea of watering the lawn. But today was suppose to be our best chance for rain, and it is a complete bust, the beginning of a beautiful sunny day.

Since tonight is a shower night, I asked Pop if I could get my haircut tomorrow, but he already has plans with Lorie. I get the green light for Wednesday, but it is a letdown. It means back-to-back shower days, and this wonderfully cool weather probably won't last through Wednesday. However, Pop later hands me a twenty-dollar bill for the haircut, which is the whole price including tip, so that I am absolutely thrilled. I have no idea how Pop is rolling in cash and credit, but who am I to complain?

I am almost able to order season three of "Chuck", but I am still going to have to wait until next grocery day. Nevertheless, I can get a couple of other books, maybe stream a movie.

I hear Pop banging away on something on the patio, and he comes in and out for tools.

Yeah, I'm more than a little worried.

I think of the new chair he got for the patio, and maybe Pop is moved by Vic's upcoming visit in May to work out some innovations.

Pop apparently was only putting on a seat cushion for that new chair on the patio. With all that noise and banging, you could think he was building a brick barbecue. That's us, though.
