Toward the end of “Run, Bitch, Run”, I was thinking about what could have saved the movie. First thing, for all the nudity, they really skimped on the rape, as well as on the consensual sex. There just was not a lot of life in it. Also, the dialogue along with character and plot development was minimal. They seemed to bank on the idea that maximal nudity and a focus on the murder scenes is what really counts.

Nevertheless, I must say that the ending was special. It was the one thing that makes you jump back in your seat and think. In such a poorly thought-out movie, that sudden suicide was the most startlingly real event. It seemed like a smart ending for a rape-revenge flick. She was such a good Christian girl, and now, after having engaged in all that brutal killing, the only real answer was to blow her own brains out, for how would she be able to live with all that bloody insanity in her head? It was a shocking, brilliant move. Such a shining gem in a crock of crap.

I don't think there was one authentic piece of chicken in that Swanson dinner. Maybe a fluke. But I think I better put that bag of boneless, skinless chicken breasts on the grocery list this week.

I was unable to keep to my one-episode limit on "Chuck". I'm not kicking myself. I am glad that I am enjoying the ill-reputed third season.
