Wow, six messages this morning, including one from Miss Stay. Now this is e-living!

I think I need to blurt some more. I have been on this idea that I will make 'meaningful entries' here, that is, fuller ones. Instead of a bunch of little blurts, I would sit down on occasion and spend some quality time writing out an entry for fifteen, twenty minutes, and maybe work on it some more later. But I never seem to find that cozy fifteen minutes, and there is only the silence, and then the forgetfulness.

I had my library trip today. The last one of the season. No book business. I didn't even need to turn anything in. But I definitely wanted that last dish of chicken fried rice before being penned in at home by the summer heat. It will be four months before my next trip downtown. I like to think every year that I might be able to take advantage of a rainy spell sometime in the middle of summer to be able to sneak in an extra dish before the autumn, but I don't think I have ever managed that yet.

I'll take this opportunity to report that I also ordered the fourth season of "Chuck". I think they raised the price by a couple of dollars. I should have waited at least another day before ordering, because I am heavily dependent on the allowance money this friday for the payment. However, I saw the notification that they only had six copies left, and it did not look like they were anticipating another batch. I didn't want to be caught short on this.

Well, this has turned into a fifteen-minute session, after all, instead of a blurt. I will still look to have my quality time with my personal blog, but my mind-set is now ready for the short twittery posts too, to catch some more of the little details of my little days.

Pop is doing some last minute cleaning. Vic arrives tomorrow. I'll probably give the kitchen floor another vacuuming tomorrow morning, thanks to the kitty litter box.

Don't forget that one source of stress on these visits is Pop's fevered urgency to clean the house and make sure everything is nice. We begin to feel the pangs of this up to a month before the visit, with the pace picking up in the last couple of weeks.

At least this is going to be only another two-weeker. When Vic started making these visits, they were month-long stays. Thank god he has always proven to be a gentle guest.

There goes the vacuum cleaner again. I hope he will be done with that by eleven.
