Father's Day

Oh, fuck, it's Father's Day.

I'd rather not be reminded at all.

Stop it! I just don't have anything to give. Who wants to be reminded of their failings?

No Coco this morning

"You look a littl sad."

No Coco this morning. It's especially worrisome because I take her to be the most tamed, domesticated. But she has had a late morning before, just a couple of weeks ago, but she had already made it back by this time.

Still no Coco

Still no Coco. And I’m kicking myself with the thought that she may be gone because I put out a light plate last night. Very little food. I did it because Sammy was gone all day yesterday, and I understood that if I kept him hungry, he would be waiting to come inside in the morning for food. However, it may be that Coco was too hungry to wait. She is not used to going without food at all. And she may have been moved to go hunting for another food source, and maybe I lost her.
