Some diet!
Jun. 18th, 2012 12:19 pm"An ice cream sandwich before lunch. Some diet!"
Before my diet, that would easily be two ice cream sandwiches. Easily two! This is obviously a gradual process.
"Even glacial. Like contintental drift even."
Progress is progress. This is more of an aspirational thing, rather than about trying to meet rock-solid goals and timelines, much like my life in general. Good intentions have to be enough.

back to zero-message days
Jun. 18th, 2012 09:25 pmIt looks like I am fully back to zero-message days. It's been quite a number of days in a row now, not counting a couple of return comments from community participation. Ms. Fox overcame her ebarrassment about dropping me from her daily life, after she had made such a big come-on to me. And the little lift we enjoyed with Ms. Courtezan and Ms. Girlie has disappeared, as it looks like they have disappeared from LJ. Ms. Stay is presumably preoccupied with her Japan trip. Susanna and Prahlad have parted for good as well, so that I am actually more of a blank than I have ever been. Over the past week, Ms. Interrupted came back and it looked like she might be a little fun, but, no, just a tease. But that's my life all over. Seriously. It's really amazing. Am I really that bad?
Pfeiffer - still a knockout at 54
Jun. 18th, 2012 09:37 pmAnne Hathaway is set to take on the role of Catwoman in Christopher Nolan's final Bat-flick, The Dark Knight Rises. But of course that won't be the first time we will have seen the feline femme fatale up on the screen. The character was portrayed by quite a few actresses over the years, most memorably by Michelle Pfeiffer in Tim Burton's Batman Returns. Her take on Selina Kyle/Catwoman left a lot of people hot under the collar, and aside from a few silly deviations regarding her origins, was a fairly spot on take on the popular Batman villain. Now Pfeiffer - still a knockout at 54 - has revealed to E! UK that she would actually be up for reprising the role at some point.
