Larry Hagman, Dead at 81
Nov. 23rd, 2012 10:30 pmDALLAS star Larry Hagman has died at the age of 81. Hagman, famed for playing the villainous oil baron JR Ewing, passed away at a Dallas Hospital, according to media reports.
His Dallas co-stars Linda Gray and Patrick Duffy, who played his wife Sue Ellen and brother Bobby, were at his bedside, The Sun newspaper reports. Among those confirming the death were Linda Gray's agent, Jeffrey Lane, The Dallas Morning News said.
Hagman had a liver transplant in 1995 after years of alcoholism. He revealed how he used to down bottles of champagne on the Dallas set.

I also remember him from the "I Dream of Jeannie" days, though Barbara Eden and her magnificent chest were the main draw. He was one of the big ones for the small screen, though I don't really feel it inside.
