Coco isn't there. On the patio. That always spooks me a little. It's much more a part of her pattern to be there first thing in the morning. Along with Ash. On the other hand, Sammy is there. He is almost never there anymore in the mnorning.

Whoa, I didn't know Bret Easton Ellis is gay!
Should I have guessed?

Fuck, another cold front!? I'm not complaining, of course. Just stunned by what the weather is doing. It's not that we need fear freezing temperatures, but what is happening is certainly unseasonal. As the weatherman puts it: "Daytime highs are going to be over 20 degrees below normal." That's fine with me.

A little fun at PolitiCartoons:

Such is Christian schooling. Or should we say, "Accelerated Christian Education"? If that's accelerated, I'd hate to see what counts as retarded. It gets better. The Guardian newspaper lists this as one of the chief tenets of the program's philosophy:

God is a right-winger. "Liberals" are the root of all political evil. God's values are rightwing, and anything else is a rejection of His will. On a politics chart, "right" is associated with "absolute" and "God", while "left" is connected to "no values" and "atheism." The term "leftwing", we learn, exists because "left" means "sinister", "to twist something", or "to corrupt." Jesus, by contrast, taught that "we should use what we have to earn a profit." If your political views lean left, you are neither a true Christian, nor a good citizen.

The road to fascism. Of course, they do not seem to be much of a real threat, but you see what is lurking in the shadows, ready to rise.

I should have done some watering this morning. I forgot today is our day. There's suppose to be a real chance of rain tonight, and I even got Sammy inside when I realized that it was drizzling this afternoon. But you know how that goes. We may not get anything more than that drizzle. So, I'm looking to water, the front, as well as the trees.

Susanna

I see that Susanna has deleted her tumblr. We've been disconnected for a while, but this is the first time in years since she has fallen completely from my radar. I suppose I should have gotten on Tumblr when she asked.

Although suicide is a distinct possibility, I wouldn't bet on it. She knows she has too much intelligence just to throw that away. She has a great smile, too.

Well, well, hackers broke into the AP's Twitter account and posted this:

Syria was happy to claim responsibility. Although the news outlets did not take the tweet seriously, Wall Street panicked for a bit.

Whoa, what happened?? I got to use the front sprinkler, and I discover that we somehow have some real water pressure for the front hose now. Instead of being reduced to only watering a few feet at a time, I can do half the yard in one go. Wow, this could actually make watering fun. But how in the world did that happen?
