The cats are eager to come in this morning. They must be starving. In addition to a brief two a.m. feeding, I got up a little after five for another quick feeding, but none of the cats were there, which I guess is a good sign, if they would prefer to run around rather than hang around anxiously at the patio for another bite to eat. I did not get up till close to eight o’clock, which feels very good. As there is a good chance of rain today, I am keeping them indoors.

Thinking about my Saturday Night post, I thought I was running a little behind, and I counted it a good thing, that I seemed to be getting a little bored with nudey pictures. However, I was stunned to realize that I already had tonights post filled out and ready to go. So, I am actually about a whole week ahead. I don’t want to do more than a couple of dozen pictures per week, and I think I will stick to this rule more or less. I don’t mind being a week ahead.

We have some more good discussion on Robert Frost, as part of the continuing fallout of the new publication of Frost's letters. Frost's reputation seems to be enjoying a rehabilitation, after suffering some rough early biographies, and there is some new appreciation for his craftsmanship. Frost just made it look easy.
