Grand Theft Auto

Grand Theft Auto Five is having a big new release for Playstation and Xbox One. I actually bought that game, but I soon dropped out. I just couldn't hang in there. I feel a little regretful about that. Much of it is my age, I imagine. Now, I just want to read and catch quotes, and if I feel really wild, maybe stream a movie online. Of course, I am not so dead that I couldn't give it a bigger go if the sexuality of these game-worlds were not so constrained. Regardless, it looks like I am out of the gaming world. I treasure all the fun I had with GTA 4. The immersiveness of those game-worlds really is fun.

Cats and Weather

The forecasters keep pushing off that wave of rain. It was supposed to be a real rainfest all day, but it is a perfect afternoon. The skies could not be more blue. They are now promising that the rain will fall overnight, but I decided to let the cats go. If it does rain, it will be good that they were given a few hours to go wild out there and work off all that restless feline energy. The problem, of course, is that they might get caught out in the midst of a storm. I think I will hedge my bets by not putting any food out on the patio this evening, so that they will be more likely to come inside in the event it does start raining later.

Weather, Weather

God, that is some loud fucking rumbling. Is it thunder, or is it aircraft, maybe incoming nuclear missiles?

Naturally I am especially worried because all the cats are outside. I hope I didn't make a bad mistake.
