Michel Houellebecq
Jul. 15th, 2016 06:27 pmI have been tempted to take up Houellebecq's work. I have gotten one of my favorite quotations from him. He is a bit of a controversialist. He wrote that novel about France being taken over by Islam and sharia law. After reading his interview with Paris Review, I am feeling a bit of emotional kinship with him and am more tempted than ever. My plate is filled up now, but he is on my mind.

INTERVIEWER

HOUELLEBECQ
Oh, it’s easy. I just pretend that I’m already dead.
