monk111: (Cats)
I knew this would happen. On the first night in a long time that the cats are left out, I sleep for more than a little over four hours straight. Coco and Sammy were on the patio and they were starving.

Then, when I went back to bed, my second fear was realized. After that solid sleep of four to five hours, I could not fall back asleep.

Allowance day. I'm covered as far as books go, and I have been struggling over whether to order the first season of "The Shield" or the movie "Romance" about a woman sinking into the carnal depths complete with nudity. Yeah, I'll probably go with the movie.

******

No, I forgot that this movie is censored in America.

What a fucking mess! A bottle of cleanser-fluid was not screwed tight, and it spilled more than half its contents on the table, spilling onto the floor. At first, I thought the sink was leaking. I didn't notice it sooner, because I was eating my steak lunch. These were goods from the HEB trip. I am fairly certain and definitely relieved that the cats did not get in that toxic mess, but I had to throw away some goods. I lost my chocolate donuts and oatmeal cookies, and I also felt that I had to throw away a couple of tubes of toothpaste and Pop's little plastic cups, as they were drenched in the stuff. I am a little stressed that Pop is probably going to throw a hissy fit, but what else could I do?

*******

He took it in stride.
