Miss Bibliophile
Jun. 17th, 2014 09:54 amA newcomer at PolitiCartoons. She seems young, fresh out of college, Miss Bibliophile. She just started a journal. I kind of pretend it’s ten years ago, and I comment at her journal, stopping short of asking her to ‘friend’ me, kind of hoping that she might take that step on her own, but she doesn’t seem particularly anxious to do so. It’s probably my age, or maybe it’s a combination of my age and the fact that one of my Saturday Night porn posts is near the top of my journal.

Miss Bibliophile’s first blurt
So far, I'm truly excited about keeping an online journal. As a kid, I always enjoyed keeping a diary. I remember having a small purple diary with a fairy on the front cover, and it came with a lock and key. Writing down my thoughts, whether as a journal entry or as a poem, has always been a bit magical. It's a moment when I feel most in touch with who I am and what I want in life. While this journal is much more public, and I feel a bit intimidated by that, I'm also intrigued by the idea of sharing my thoughts with countless others.

Well, on LiveJournal, countless others is not quite as many as it used to be, but welcome aboard.
Miss Bibliophile
Yeah, I've been told that a lot of people have abandoned the site. Oh well. It's still fun. And thanks!
